Bio

For more than 15 years, attorney Joyce Komanapalli Jones has faithfully served those pursuing civil litigation and family-based immigration. By advocating on behalf of those who need help most, Komanapalli Jones shines a light deep into the legal system. Her commitment to continuous professional improvement and ongoing support of charitable causes, such as the Women’s Refugee Commission, are illuminating examples of one of our nation’s most powerful traditions — Americans helping individuals and families pursue life-changing decisions.

A Quest for Justice Decades in the Making

Prior to earning admission to the California State Bar, Komanapalli Jones received multiple bachelor’s degrees, cum laude, from the University of California at Irvine and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Academic focuses including political science, philosophy, and global peace and conflict studies left her well-prepared for the unique situations she would later face resolving nuanced cases for her diverse clients. So too would her experience authoring “Nationalism and International Human Rights Violations: A Study on Iran, India, the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.”

Komanapalli Jones has served as a judicial extern for the Honorable William F. Rylaarsdam, Associate Justice of the California Courts of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three. She is admitted to practice law in the state of California, as well as several United States District Courts.

Komanapalli Jones’ courtroom successes spring from hard work and motivation. The practice has persevered against seemingly impossible odds on multiple high-profile occasions.
